Description: This tin friction fire truck is about 6.5" long and was made in Japan by Nomura Toy Co (TN mark) in the 1950's. It features a driver and two firefighter figures riding on each side of the ladder truck, with the left side figure ringing the truck's bell as it moves along. The friction drive works well, propelling the truck and operating the bell action. The ladder can be manually raised, extended and rotated about its base. The litho is very clean, with minor playwear. Left and right rear fender corners of the truck feel slightly rough where the "shine" seems to have worn off the paint. The left rear hubcap has been replaced, not very noticeable. Overall a very clean and presentable vintage toy that has been in my collection for almost 30 years. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have!
