Description: Vintage1930's MANOIL 41/2-3 Made in U.S.A. Cast Iron Woman Man Sitting FigurinesFROM THE HAPPY FARM SERIES Designed for the ( O ) gauge train set This is vintage set of two MANOIL 1940's Made in the U.S.A. cast iron metal hand painted toy figurines depicting a woman and a man holding on to each other's arms while in the sitting position. These two figurines were originally sold together along with a small park bench so the pair could be placed alongside each other on the bench. The park bench IS included and also in fantastic condition for the age. These figures were found in an abandoned attic here in the Tampa bay area. A rare find and much more rare is the condition see photos, Note, I came across this particular piece and several dozen other small antique and vintage assorted cast Iron metal and hard rubber figurines made by Barclay, Manoil, Grey Iron, American Metal Manufacturers and the Auburn Rubber Company. I will be listing these figurines individually and in small sets until all the pieces are sold. I will combine shipping on multiple purchases. These pair of vintage cast iron metal figurines was manufactured by MANOIL and are each stamped with the company's encircled letter "M" brand followed by the words "MADE IN USA" above the numbers "41/2" on the woman and "41/3" on the man. The noted stamps are located on the backside of the woman's white dress and the man's green jacket. The figurines are hand painted and measures approximately 2.50" tall in their sitting positions. Please refer to the close up photos for more details and to confirm the aforementioned information I have described. The woman has red colored hair and her dress is painted white. She is wearing red colored shoes. The woman's face arms and legs still have flesh colored tan paint remaining. Additionally, the woman's face also retains much of its original hand painted details with the figurine's black eyebrows and pupils very much evident. The gentleman has brown colored hair and is wearing white shoes. The man's clothes and hat are painted light green and he is wearing a blue and yellow striped neck tie. The overall condition of the set of vintage cast iron metal figurines is NEAR MINT with the toys having all their pieces intact and a large amount of their original hand applied paint remaining I would say 99.5 % original . Although the paint on the figurines remain in FANTASTIC condition considering the toy is approximately 80+ years old, Please refer to the description photos to confirm the condition of the toy and for more details about what I have described.
