Womens Vintage 50s Lucite Purse Clutch in excellent clean condition, no broken parts, no cracks. Acquired from original owner who purchased in the 1950s from Capwells Department Store Oakland California and had it stored away for close to 74 years. Mid Century Modern MCM white marble type design with gold metal hardware and accents, gold metal accent trim on front, no labels, no manufacture markings on purse. The hinge is in great working condition, not loose and has a great snap to it, just like when it was originally made decades ago. Teardrop oval style with a rounded bottom. The surface is smooth and shiny and still has a great sheen to it, only minimal light wear which is only noticeable when you hold up to a bright light. As you can see from the close up photos the light wear hardly shows. The vintage picture and Capwells logo are not included in the listing and only being shown as reference for all people who do not remember the Capwells store. Approx measurements just shy of 7 5/8 inches long x 3 5/8 inches tall x 2 ¼ inches at widest point on side. Buyers from Hawaii and Alaska if interested please inquire as shipping may be a bit more.
