This small bag is suede leather with a suede leather strap and has a simple flap closure. It is uneven on bottom, there is some original price tag residue on reverse and exposed glue on the back at the strap attachments. Be advised that when new this was a very inexpensive piece. Good to very good condition. Now that we have that out of the way ... What a fabulous little bag. This graphic play on the flag of the United States was huge in the sixties. Measures roughly 7.5 x 6.5 inches (not including strap). Could have been a kid's bag. Front of bag is three panels of suede - red/white/red - and the flap is dark blue with a sewn on white star (the white is not super bright - more of a stone white). Back of bag is dark blue. In spite of its humble origins, it is a fantastic piece. It's a testament and symbol of American social upheaval. The Abbie Hoffman style RW&B pieces hold a significant place in fashion history.
