Vtg Oil Painting Thatched Roof Cottages on Beach, West Indies or South Pacific

Description: DESCRIPTION: Impressionist oil painting of some thatched roof cottages on a tropical beach. Could be somewhere in the West Indies or the South Pacific. The painting is signed in the lower right corner but I cannot read it - it looks like it starts with the letters Pyg or Pyy. It appears to be painted in oil on canvas board. It is framed in a faux bamboo wood frame. The visible area of the painting is about 6 1/4" by 7 1/2". Overall size is about 7" by 8 1/4". Both painting and frame are in very good condition. There are teeny pinholes in the artists board in the extreme corners (almost impossible to notice, but see last picture for example).
