Description: In the 1940s, American Catholic churches often held missions during which visiting priests came to discuss special topics. To raise funds, the missionary priests sometimes sold small rosary boxes. Box measures approximately two inches long by one inch wide with an image of Christ with the Crown of Thorns. CONDITION Missing one of the jewels on front of box. Patina on box box and rosary. Some of the beads are broken in half. The fit is a little snug. Otherwise in good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Feel free to use the zoom option as pictures are considered part of the description. DETAILS All items are sold as is.
