Description: The sample in the pictures was engraved at 3 to 1. For sale is a UNITED STATES FLAG master engraving template for a new Hermes engraving machine. Please look closely at the photographs and you will see the dimensions of the plate. The dimensions of the flag on the template are 3 3/4" X 5 5/8" This makes a beautiful reproduction for military, funeral or other decorative items. This is a larger sized template that has 50 true five pointed stars just like a real US flag. The older vintage flag template only used dots and was very small and lacked detail. Please carefully review the photographs and see that this is working on a model GM machine. This medium size flag fits nicely on this smaller machine but is still a large pattern which reproduces a nice sized flag. Please note that all measuring instruments and the aluminum engraved reproduction are for demonstration purposes only and are not part of the sale. This item will be firmly attached to a piece of wood to protect it during shipping. If you pay before noon Eastern time I will mail the item the very same day. The hardware kit that is supplied with this template is metric threads. It is your responsibility to know what the thread size is on your machines copy stops. It is rare but new Hermes made a few machines with SAE COARSE THREAD 10-24. Please let me know if your machine uses this thread and I will mail the template with the appropriate hardware. If not the metric thread is included by default. The good news is the 10 –24 threads are more common at a hardware store.
