Description: EACH of our hand hewn bowls are Unique. No Two are ever alike. It's been carved out of one solid piece of (Mountain Pine) wood. Want character? THIS bowl has it all. It has wavy irregular markings, Gorgeous color PLUS it had good weight at TWO and a Half POUNDS! You will see carving marks as well as saw marks, small splits and imperfections in the wood. We leave those in for a more primitive look and simply distress and wax and seal them to blend beautifully with the surrounding patina. And BECAUSE of the distressing/waxing process that we are put these through, they are NOT suitable for rolling dough or keeping raw foods in. Measures 19 3/4" LONG & 7 1/2" WIDE & stands 3 3/8" to 3 5/8" tall. The bowl you SEE is the EXACT one you will RECEIVE. It's a Beauty!
