Description: This M1902 U.S. Army Officer’s sword was owned by Brigadier General Walter D. Luplow (1896-1959). He served in WW1, WW2, and the Korean War. He was a General in the Army Engineers. The blade is in great condition. The handle is in good condition (it shows wear for its age) the scabbard is in good condition with light rust near the rings, one of two small screws missing wear sword fits into scabbard, doesn’t effect sword or scabbard. The handle, blade and entire sword are tight with nothing loose at all. This is a great piece of American Military history. Would make a Great Wall hanger, or gift. Own a Generals sword!
