Open pollinated. Extremely hot! This superhot pepper's name is because it looks like a brain with its lumpy appearance. Pods are typically 2-1/2” long and 2-1/2” wide with crinkled yellow skin. It has a pineapple-like fruity taste and a massive amount of heat. Plants typically grow to around 3’ tall and produce a tremendous amount of fruit all season. Variety: Capsicum chinense Warning: Handling this pepper requires extreme caution. Wear hand, eye and breathing protection. This variety is great for any form of cooking where you're wanting to add alot of heat, but also the pure flavor of super hot peppers. This pepper is pure on the flavor scale and a must have for any grower! Scoville Heat Units 1,600,000 Growing Tips: Depending on yor setup, start the seeds in early spring or even late winter indoors. Start them approximately two months prior to the first opportunity to plant outside (often times the last frost date for your area). Place the seeds in a seed starting mix, covering approximately 1/4” deep (no deeper). Provide 85°F bottom heat (recommend a heating mat commonly found at grow stores or online), bright light (important) and keep moist at all times. Seeds will germinate in 7 - 21 days. Transplant seedlings into pots and grow until there are 6 true leaves on the plant. Plant them directly into rich soil, 36” apart or into large 5 gallon containers.
