I purchased it from that original owner. The wolf in Zuni is the Guardian of the East and is known for healing & protection. The wolf also assists in the hunt & survival as a pathfinder for Life's journey. Amber is an unusual material for these carved fetishes so this is especially rare. I have tried showing the wolf in a variety of lights so that you can see the characteristics of the amber and the detailed carving. The wolf has inlay turquoise eyes.
